PRELIMINARY ENVIRONMENTAL STUDIES PRIOR TO URBAN DEVELOPMENT IN THE CITY OF BORDEAUX - BORDEAUX (33)
In May 2017, IDE Environnement was awarded a standing offer agreement for the performance of environmental studies in connection with development projects spearheaded by Bordeaux Métropole. With the work undertaken including field naturalist expertise, diagnostics/surveys of wetland areas, applications to the CNPN (French National Council for the Protection of Nature) for exemptions, preparation of submissions in relation to DUP (compulsory purchase orders), compliance with the French Water Act and environmental impact studies, IDE Environnement has played an active role in around 70 operations in and around Bordeaux. The standing offer agreement has just been renewed until 2021.
IDE Environnement has nimbly steered all the members of its team, in conjunction with specialist practices, proving itself to be reactive and providing the skills needed to manage a standing offer agreement in a fast-developing region where the natural environment is under intense pressure. The extent of the firm’s environmental expertise and its ability to manage a project team are in evidence in the metropolitan area every day.
