TRIFYL, the interdepartmental body responsible for waste management in the Tarn, initiated a construction project for a plant for the sorting, methanisation and production of SRF and compost from household biowaste and non-hazardous residual waste, on its ISDND (storage facilities for non-hazardous waste) site in Labessière Candeil. The Urbaser group was selected for the design-build-operation of the UTVD (waste to energy plant) which will process 110 kt/year.
