Les Echos, the French business newspaper, conducted multi-sector research in collaboration with l’Institut STATISTA, to establish a league table of the “500 Champions of Corporate Growth 2017”. The aim of the ranking, published in Les Echos Week-End magazine February 4th edition, is to celebrate those companies who have achieved outstanding results in terms of growth in turnover and job creation. Depuis un an, BUILDERS & PARTNERS, est partenaire du Mastère spécialisé BIM organisé par l’ECOLE DES PONTS ET CHAUSSEES et l’ECOLE SPECIALE DES TRAVAUX PUBLICS, DU BÂTIMENT ET DE L’INDUSTRIE, aux côtés de grands acteurs que sont INGEROP, ARTELIA, MEDIA CONSTRUCT ou encore BOUYGUES CONSTRUCTION et SAINT GOBAIN.

Composée cette année de 34 mastériens, le nombre de candidatures reçues pour la deuxième année reflète le succès et l’essor du BIM en France : la nouvelle promotion devrait très probablement dépasser les 80 personnes réparties en deux groupes.

Builders & Partners and Syntesia at BIM World 2017, stand 102

  Builders & Partners and Syntesia will be present at the BIM World 2017 trade fair, which is being held in the Espace Grande Arche in La Défense – Paris, France, on Wednesday 29th and Thursday 30th March. We will be holding demonstrations on stand 102 – please come by and have a chat with our teams. A date for your diary! Builders and Partners and Syntesia invite you to attend a workshop entitled “BIM Modelling – a Digital Platform at the Service of Project Managers” at 10:30 AM on Thursday 30th March at the Espace Turing. Based on pragmatic feedback and lessons learned from our latest BIM operations, we would like to share with you our analysis of the barriers and obstacles currently preventing project managers benefiting from the full potential for value creation offered by BIM modelling, after which we can exchange ideas on the solutions (in terms of business divisions, services, tools, interfaces and data platforms) which would need to be put in place to ensure that BIM modelling can be of real use to project management teams, in each phase of the life cycle of a real estate asset.

On 7 July 2017 a topping out ceremony involving the raising of a flag was held on the @HOME project in Ivry sur Seine to celebrate the completion of the structural works.

PROJECT NEWS: HANDOVER OF EDO BUILDING

This 11,000 m² building will be home to the Transdev group. Builders & Partners fulfilled the role of construction project manager on behalf of Foncière des Régions.

Handover of the Mérial (ex-Sanofi) head office operation in Lyon was completed in April 2017.

PROJECT NEWS: HANDOVER OF JAVA BUILDING

Symbol of a new form of urban reconquest requiring extremely high technicity, the handover of Java building on the western sector of the Clichy Batignolles “ZAC” (designated development zone) took place on 29 June 2017. Built with a metal structure, on a slab overlooking the railway tracks on the approach to Saint Lazare station, exemplary in environmental terms and iconic because of its unique architecture, Builders & Partners is proud to have been tasked with construction project management on behalf of the entire project team.
