BIM World 2017
BIM World has become an unmissable event for major French and international players in the fields of construction and building operation. On 28 and 29 March 2017, during the third edition of BIM World, the Espace Grande Arche in La Défense hosted over 140 exhibitors and 70 conferences and welcomed 5,000 visitors. We were lucky enough to meet many of you on our stand. Those of you who came to see us there were able to discover virtual reality, augmented reality and a preview demonstration of our collaborative BIM platform for managing both projects and buildings under operation. On Thursday 30 March at 10:30 A.M., we hosted a workshop entitled: “BIM Modelling – a Digital Platform at the Service of Project Owners and Managers” We would be delighted to give you a presentation of our vision, our know-how and our development tools tailored to meet your individual needs.
Luminem, a BIM as-built file
Located at 15-19 rue de Paris in Bobigny, on the banks of the Canal de l’Ourcq, 5 minutes’ walk from Bobigny – Pantin – Raymond Queneau metro station, the project is the brainchild of François Leclercq architects and was co-developed by BNP Paribas Real Estate and the GA Group. HQE (high environmental quality) and BREEAM certified, Luminem is the first office building on the Ecocité “ZAC” (designated development zone). Following a close collaboration with Syntesia, after a construction phase that lasted 8 months, the BIM-based “DOE” (as-built file) has just been compiled.
N2, BIM INNOVATION
Syntesia provided BIM Management and BIM Clash Detection services on the N2 Stream Building project. Winner of the “Re-invent Paris” competition, the N2 project, located at the tip of the new Clichy-Batignolles district, manages to unite under one roof all the activities that make dense urban life so vibrant. Shattering monofunctional logic, the project creates a harmonious coexistence between different forms of working, staying, eating and enjoying cultural activities. It offers an attractive venue at any time of day for residents of the district and the wider Paris metropole looking for somewhere to eat, work, sleep or meet up.
Syntesia at BIM World Universities!
Syntesia was at BIM World Universities on 19 September 2017 in the Espace Grande Arche. During the event, Syntesia explained how BIM can provide project owners with a global vision of their real estate assets. While BIM forms the foundation of real estate data management as far as project owners are concerned, there is also a need for tools to enable owners to achieve the following aims:
- Visualisation of each and every component of the property, right down to the last one
- Production of intelligent data, especially for operations and facilities management
Syntesia is rising to this challenge with the launch of its new solution: Sofya, a veritable decision-making tool for property owners and their partners.
