IMPACT STUDY RELATING TO THE CASTELNOUVEL ECODISTRICT IN LÉGUEVIN - LEGUEVIN (31)

Description

The site on which the project is located, “Castelnouvel”, covers an area of approximately 39 hectares. The district is earmarked for urban development, largely involving housing, and is part of the Schéma de Cohérence Territoriale (multi-authority urban planning programme). The objective of the project is to create a district accommodating a mixture of uses. The idea is to build housing predominantly, but also local shops, services and facilities to meet the everyday needs of residents but without undue competition to existing economic activity. The operation falls within the framework of “Ecodistrict” certification. The developer behind the project, ARP, entrusted IDE Environnement with carrying out the environmental impact studies.
